A World Cup directive which requires parents to buy babies tickets if they want to take their little ones to matches has not gone down well.
It doesn't matter if they are to sit on their parents' laps - every human must have a ticket.
A ban on babies attending events without tickets also occured in the 2012 London Olympics which led to a public backlash and a backdown by organisers.
It remans to be seen whether World Cup organisers follow suit.
Rich Davis, who bought tickets in May last year for himself and his wife and their chilidren aged five and seven to watch Wales v Uruguay in Cardiff, has been told their nine-month old baby, Molly, will not be allowed in.
"When booking it was in no way obvious that babies under two needed a ticket to get into the ground. It was only when I received an email this week with a 'What you need to know before the game' that it stated 'babes-in-arms' need their own tickets."
