More than 340,000 people in New Zealand tuned in to watch the All Blacks play Namibia last Friday morning, making it the most watched game on a single channel so far this Rugby World Cup.
The 7am game -- played at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London and screened live on SKY Sport 1 -- saw 8.1 per cent of all people aged five years and older in New Zealand watching, which is over 93,000 more viewers than for the All Blacks first game against Argentina.
Delayed, free-to-air coverage of the game at midday on Prime also had over 59,000 people watching, and a replay on the same channel at 6pm had another roughly 53,000 on top of that.
The Pool C hit-out was followed closely in weekend viewership numbers by the England v Wales clash at Twickenham.
Screened live on SKY Sport 1 at 8am on Sunday, the incredible Welsh victory was seen by over 220,000 people in New Zealand, or 5.3 per cent of all people aged five years and older.
