Most Kiwis want the All Blacks to win the World Cup but an Auckland punter has even more reason after placing a $100,000 bet today on Steve Hansen's side to claim the Webb Ellis Cup.
It's the second biggest bet on the World Cup so far, and would return $160,000, trailing only the $130,000 one punter placed on anyone but the All Blacks to win.
That Auckland punter stands to pocket $201,500 if either South Africa, Australia or Argentina prevail.
The third biggest bet, made by a Waikato punter, was $50,000 on the All Blacks to win the World Cup @2.25 for a return of $112,500.
Confidence in the All Blacks has grown since their 62-13 quarter-final demolition of France last weekend.
