As the All Blacks' coaches' review process gets under way, former captain Tana Umaga is calling for Graham Henry, Steve Hansen and Wayne Smith to be retained.
The coaching panel will undergo an extensive review process before any reappointments are made.
Speaking in Paris, Umaga said New Zealand should be wary of getting rid of the incumbents but he acknowledges a lot was riding on a better All Black result in the Rugby World Cup.
NZRU chairman Jock Hobbs has stepped down from the IRB board and has been replaced by Graham Mourie.
