KEY POINTS:
CAPE TOWN - South Africa centre Jean de Villiers and wing Akona Ndungane were passed fit for the World Cup opening in Paris next Saturday (NZ time).
De Villiers (ribs) and Ndungane (chest) were injured in the Springboks' warm-up matches.
A statement from the South African Rugby Union said both had been cleared to travel with the team on Monday.
