Rugby World Cup 2011 organisers have issued a warning after discovering scammers offering fake match tickets and corporate hospitality packages for the tournament.
Rugby Travel and Hospitality New Zealand released a statement saying the official corporate hospitality programme would not be on sale until today.
"It is important for supporters to understand the potential consequences of purchasing match ticket-inclusive hospitality from unauthorised sources."
People who bought tickets from unofficial suppliers risked being refused entry or evicted from venues.
There are two official agents for the tournament, Hospitality NZ 2011 and Ticketek.
