The All Blacks fullback left the field in the first half of this morning's 40-nil win over Scotland at Murrayfield. He admits it was a hugely disappointing way to celebrate his 50th test in the All Black jersey. He says he wanted to play well so it is a shame, but he is pleased he is likely to recover quickly.
The news is promising for fullback Mils Muliaina, who may play against Romania this Saturday following his hamstring injury.
