KEY POINTS:
PARIS - Fiji first five-eighth icky Little, who played a major part in his team's upset victory over Wales to reach the rugby World Cup quarterfinals, has been ruled out of the remainder of the tournament because of a knee injury.
Little, who scored 18 points in Fiji's 38-34 win in Nantes yesterday, will be out for about six weeks after injuring his left knee.
The 31-year-old, his country's all-time top points scorer, was taken to hospital from the Beaujoire stadium at the end of the pool b match.
"He's pretty disappointed. He's out for six weeks. Hopefully he can hang around and encourage the boys because we need his expertise," captain Mosese Rauluni said today.
"He did his medial ligament. We thought he might have done his cruciate but it's still six weeks."
Fiji's options at first five-eighth for next Monday's (NZT) quarterfinal in Marseille against the Springboks include Seremaia Bai, who played at centre against Wales, and Waisea Luveniyali.
The Fijians finished second to Australia in the group after victories over Japan, Canada and Wales and a loss to the Wallabies.
