MILAN - Leicester prop Martin Castrogiovanni will make his comeback for Italy in a World Cup warmup rugby match againstv with Japan on Sunday (NZT), the Italian Rugby Federation (FIR) said today.
Castrogiovanni has been out for nearly six months because of a knee injury but will play at Saint Vincent alongside captain Marco Bortolami, who has shrugged off a knock.
Italy, who named their World Cup squad this month, play Ireland in their final "friendly" on August 24 before starting their pool C campaign against New Zealand on September 8.
