KEY POINTS:
CARDIFF - Reserve hooker Keven Mealamu has been ruled out of this morning's (NZ time) rugby World Cup quarterfinal against France with a hamstring injury.
Mealamu felt discomfort when he underwent a fitness test and his place on the bench will be taken by Andrew Hore.
Anton Oliver is the starting hooker.
While Mealamu is a world class performer, Hore has been a standout performer over the last month.
The late replacement justifies the All Blacks selectors' decision to bring three hookers to the tournament.
They have done the same thing in another specialist position, by naming three halfbacks.
In better news for New Zealand, first five-eighth Daniel Carter is clear to play after overcoming a calf muscle injury.
Revised team
Leon MacDonald, Joe Rokocoko, Mils Muliaina, Luke McAlister, Sitiveni Sivivatu, Daniel Carter, Byron Kelleher, Rodney So'oialo, Richie McCaw (captain), Jerry Collins, Ali Williams, Keith Robinson, Carl Hayman, Anton Oliver, Tony Woodcock. Reserves: Andrew Hore, Neemia Tialata, Chris Jack, Chris Masoe, Brendon Leonard, Nick Evans, Isaia Toeava
