PARIS - France centre Yannick Jauzion has been passed fit to play in Saturday's World Cup semi-final against champions England following a scan on a thigh injury on Friday, team management announced.
Jauzion, rested from Friday's training session, which he watched from the sidelines, is set to win his 50th cap on Saturday at the Stade de France.
The 29-year-old Toulouse back played a key role in getting the hosts to the last four by scoring the winning try in their dramatic 20-18 quarter-final win over tournament favourites New Zealand in Cardiff last Saturday.
