LONDON - Centre Dan Hipkiss will make his England debut in Sunday's (NZ time) World Cup warm-up game against Wales at Twickenham.
Former captain and World Cup winner Lawrence Dallaglio returns to the squad on the replacements' bench in head coach Brian Ashton's selection announced on Wednesday.
Hipkiss comes into the side alongside Andy Farrell, who returns after illness.
Joe Worsley has been moved to open-side flanker, with former captain Martin Corry switched back to the blind-side. Nick Easter completes the back row.
Veteran Mark Regan is included to start at hooker, picked ahead of George Chuter. Andrew Sheridan returns at prop, Mark Cueto is picked at full-back and David Strettle and Jason Robinson are on the wings.
At scrum-half, Ashton has named Shaun Perry to play ahead of Andy Gomarsall and Peter Richards.
The clash with Wales, who have not won at Twickenham for 19 years, is the first of three warm-up games in August before the World Cup. They meet France twice on August 11 and 18 after the contest with Wales.
