PARIS - All Blacks forward Sione Lauaki has launched an appeal against a two-week ban handed out for a dangerous tackle on Romanian winger Gabriel Brezonianu during the 85-8 win on Saturday.
The suspension has ruled the player out of contention for the quarter-finals as well as the semi-finals.
The appeal is scheduled to take place in Paris on Friday.
