Wallabies flyhalf Quade Cooper has re-signed with the Australian Rugby Union until the end of 2012.
The ARU today said Cooper, who started in 13 of Australia's 15 tests in 2010 and was named Super player of the year, was the 17th player to re-sign with Australian rugby in 2011 ahead of the Tri-Nations tournament and the World Cup in New Zealand.
Cooper, who signed a one-year contract extension, has played 24 tests for Australia and helped the Queensland Reds to a resurgence last year and to the top of the Super 15 standings so far this season.
