KEY POINTS:
Rugby fans outside of Auckland are holding their breath ahead of today's big Rugby World Cup 2011 announcement.
It is expected Wellington and Christchurch will be confirmed as hosts of the quarterfinals.
Auckland's Eden Park has already been confirmed for the semifinals and final, but there has been talk the City of Sails could get all the playoff matches.
Former All Blacks coach Alex Wyllie says that would be a poor decision.
He says the rugby public around New Zealand deserves to see big games and not just in Auckland.
The announcement is due to be made at 3.15pm.
