KEY POINTS:
PARIS - Argentina have made a change to the team announced for tomorrow's (NZT) rugby World Cup third-place playoff against France, replacing injured centre Gonzalo Tiesi with Manuel Contepomi.
"(Tiesi) is injured and won't be able to play. Manuel Contepomi will take his place," assistant coach Daniel Baetti said today.
Tiesi, who came off the bench to replace Contepomi for last Monday's semifinal loss to South Africa, was injured in training yesterday although his withdrawal from the team was only decided today.
Contepomi has played in all but one of Argentina's matches in the tournament, scoring two tries.
Argentina face France at the Parc des Princes in their second meeting in the tournament, having upset them 17-12 in the opening match.
