All Black lock Ali Williams is set to make a return to national championship rugby when Auckland meet Bay of Plenty on Friday.
Williams, coming back from a broken jaw, played for his Ponsonby club on Saturday in a 32-12 win over University.
He said he was looking forward to his first big game since his broken jaw in the All Blacks' 61-10 win over France on June 9.
