Former All Blacks halfback Justin Marshall says he would jump at the chance to play at next year's Rugby World Cup. Marshall, who is on a two-year deal with Ospreys, says the passion for the game in Wales has rejuvenated his rugby.
Under New Zealand Rugby Union rules he is ineligible to play test rugby as he is based overseas. But if the rules were to be changed, he would love to be part of the World Cup.
He said he is convinced he's is up to the job. "The temptation is definitely there. New Zealand has its rules, which I think are disappointing, but if they changed the policy and did come knocking on the door I would jump at it. A World Cup success is the one thing in rugby I've never achieved."
