It was a moment where even the most powerful man in New Zealand realised his limits.
Prime Minister John Key got a first-up impression of what the Springboks had to counter at Twickenham this morning when man mountain All Black Sam Whitelock sidled over to shake his hand.
It's almost a case of Andre the Giant meeting a tiny woodsman as Whitelock towers over the PM who visited the All Blacks in their dressing room immediately after the narrow 20-18 semi-final win over South Africa in London.
The PM was undoubtedly congratulating Whitelock on his match-turning lineout steal off Springbok veteran Victor Matfield late in the game which helped swing the semi New Zealand's way.
