KEY POINTS:
Japan booked their place in next year's Rugby World Cup, crushing arch rivals South Korea 54-0 in the final round of Asian qualifying.
Japanese captain Daisuke Ohata scored a hat-trick and there was plenty of support from his teammates as Mitsugu Nishiura, Go Aruga, Luatangi Samurai Vatuveii, Hirotoki Onozawa and Philip O'Reilly also touched down to help Japan finish the three-team tournament unbeaten.
Japan were always in control as they easily won the three-team round robin event to take their accustomed place in rugby's most prestigious tournament. The Japanese have now qualified for every World Cup since 1987. They will face Australia, Wales, Fiji and Canada in Pool B in France.
