The Wallabies' shock loss to Ireland last night has opened up the Rugby World Cup draw with Australia now set to clash with South Africa in the quarterfinals (if they can get past USA and Russia that is).
There is potential for the quarterfinals to be split into four Northern Hemisphere teams (England, France, Wales and Ireland) on one side of the draw and four Southern Hemisphere teams (New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, Argentina) on the other with the All Blacks possibly facing either South Africa or Australia in the semifinals.
Still there is a lot of rugby to play but can Australia, who only a matter of weeks ago knocked off the All Blacks in Brisbane, bounce back and win the World Cup?
Is Ireland a realistic chance of making their maiden World Cup final?
