All Black loose forward Adam Thomson has revealed just how nervous he was waiting to find out his Rugby World Cup 2011 fate.
Thomson hyper extended his left elbow against Australia just four days after being named in the squad to challenge for the Webb Ellis trophy.
Thomson says waiting for the results of the MRI was nerve racking.
He says to have all that hard work to make the squad hanging on the outcome of a scan was a pretty daunting thing to face up to.
Thomson says he's back at 100 per cent, having been looked after by a great medical team.
