"Disgusting. Who would want to listen to more of TJ and Foxy's dribble rather than see Mills get his cap. Sky sports need a bullet!!"
A "Give Mils the credit he deserves; broadcast his 100th test cap presentation" Facebook page has been started, although it does only have 10 members as at midday.
A presentation for Richie McCaw when he reached 100 tests against France was broadcast.
Radio Sport did, however, choose to broadcast Muliaina's presentation. Unfortunately the audio quality and crowd noise means parts of both Jock Hobbs and Mils' speeches are inaudible, but fans can listen to the clip here. The ceremony is on the 22.15-22.30pm clip, and starts at 7:07.
Hobbs paid tribute to Muliaina's career before placing the cap on his head, and giving the veteran a hug.
"A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of capping our first All Black in history to play 100 test matches. Today, tonight, we have the privilege of capping our second centenarian, Mils Muliaina."
Hobbs said Muliaina's family were present for the "very, very special presentation".
"A hundred tests, three of them as captain, he's played at centre, wing, full back, he's played them all with integrity, he's played them with courage, boldness, a wonderful counter-attacker with the rugby ball. He's just an outstanding rugby player. He's done an outstanding service to New Zealand rugby and for the All Blacks jersey."
Much of what Mils himself had to say is inaudible in the clip, but he thanked Hobbs, the team for the victory and his family.
"... Thank you Jock for those kind words, I really appreciate it.
"Can I just firstly thank the boys ... thank you, it was an outstandingly good performance."
