The World Cup hopes of All Blacks prop John Afoa could go on the line today.
Assistant coach Steve Hansen says Afoa's fractured cheekbone will be assessed by the surgeon this morning.
Hansen says they'll decide whether to put a plate in it or leave it as is.
He says it could mean two weeks out, or six.
A six week layoff would take Afoa to the opening week of the World Cup, although the squad is named later this month.
Hansen says none of the other injury knocks in the team are considered serious.
He says Isaia Toeava's likely to play in the battle of the bridge this weekend but they're unsure about Tony Woodcock, despite a positive return for Harbour last night.
Israel Dagg may play for his club.
