Every cloud has a silver lining.
Distraught England rugby supporters can console themselves with cut price bargains at their team's official shop.
The Daily Mail reports that England's early departure from the World Cup has seen prices slashed on items ranging from jerseys to key rings. The paper said that two days after the loss to Australia, the England Rugby Store website announced a 40 per cent sale on 57 items of merchandise.
Team jerseys dropped from $163 to $97. Key rings plummeted from $16 to under $10, although these trinkets still appear on the expensive side. Scarves, beanies and jumpers can also be had for a song after the failure of Swing Low to lift England against the Wallabies.
