Rugby: Waikato run riot in Greymouth

The Waikato rugby team has successfully defended the Ranfurly Shield, thumping West Coast 99-3 in Greymouth this afternoon.

The Mooloo men ran in 15 tries and led 47-nil at halftime.

West Coast captain Michael Foster scored the home side's only points, a penalty in the second half.

Waikato's next defense of the 'log of wood' is against North Otago in Oamaru on Saturday.
