Injured Wallaby Tim Horan could require surgery to get his rugby career back on track.
The odds of Horan's going under the surgeon's knife to correct a ligament problem in his foot have increased, with the injury taking longer than expected to improve.
Horan will consult another specialist for a second opinion on his injury as time becomes a serious enemy as his contract with English club Saracens is due to start next month.
"I'm going to see another doctor early next week and see how things go from there and just make sure it (foot) is improving," Horan said today.
"If it's not improving I might have to have an operation but at this stage it's improving very slowly."
