Taranaki overcame North Harbour 13-3 at Rugby Park in New Plymouth this afternoon in a bleak NPC encounter.
In the driving rain, the home side scored the only try of the match. Both sides are now virtually out of the hunt for semi-final positions.
Harbour led 3-0 at half-time after a Silao Leaega penalty in the thirty-fifth minute.
Taranaki equalised early in the second half with a Daryl Lilley penalty.
A converted try from winger Neil Brew put Taranaki ahead 10-3, and Lilley chalked up three more points with the boot.
