Springboks lock Lood de Jager has been cited for foul play in his side's 57-15 thrashing by the All Blacks.
Having come on as a substitute, de Jager was yellow carded in the 72nd minute for charging shoulder-first into All Blacks prop Wyatt Crockett.
That moment drew the ire of referee Jerome Garces, and could potentially also have contravened Law 10.4 (h), which states "A player must not charge into a ruck or maul. Charging includes any contact made without use of the arms, or without grasping a player."
Upon reviewing of the footage from the game, the Citing Commissioner deemed that the incident had met the red card threshold for foul play, meaning de Jager will have to face the judicairy.
The Springboks have two games remaining this year, taking on England and Wales next month.
