Former Waikato and Fiji hooker Greg Smith will coach Bay of Plenty in this year's national rugby championship. It will be Smith's debut at Air New Zealand Cup level. He has been working in various coaching capacities in Waikato since 2005, and last year guided Fraser Tech to the club championship.
