Former All Blacks skipper Wayne Shelford has been elected president of the North Harbour Rugby Union.
The union, celebrating its 25th anniversary, reported a profit of $15,000 for the year. "It has been a year in which we could have been severely disrupted by the difficult economic times, so it is pleasing to report a profit for the year," union chief executive Brett Hollister said.
