New Zealand face a tough draw in the Los Angeles leg of the IRB series this weekend.
They have drawn Samoa and Scotland - quarter-finalists from Wellington - and Uruguay in the pool section.
Should they make the quarter-finals, the draw takes on an ominous look.
Either England or Fiji loom as potential opposition, and if they win, South Africa or Argentina could meet them in the semifinals.
After victories in South Africa and Wellington, New Zealand lead the series on 52 points from Fiji on 44 and England on 36.
Coach Gordon Tietjens said nothing was mentioned in the camp this week about Argentina's underhanded tactics in last Saturday's final where star player Tamati Ellison was bitten while his testicles were yanked.
"No it hasn't been raised. All I know is that the player has since been disqualified from the tournament for biting, but we haven't made any mention of it, nor have the media in LA."
However, the team had talked about coming down from the heady heights of Wellington and were now focused on their next target.
"It's a big ask after the popularity and success of Wellington," Tietjens said. "We had to get our feet back on the ground and look ahead to LA. We have a tough draw, it's another huge challenge for the younger players."
