New Zealand have beaten Kenya 25-10 at the International Rugby Board Sevens tournament in Las Vegas this morning (NZT).
The win was their second of the morning, having thrashed Uruguay 40-0 in the opening game.
Collins Injera opened the scoring for Kenya with a try at the one minute 49sec mark, and it was four minutes before New Zealand got on the board with a try to Tomasi Cama. Solomon King also crossed the line in the first half.
Injera also opened scoring in the second half, after just 35sec, before New Zealand took charge with tries to Toby Arnold, Tim Mikkelson and Frank Halai.
No tries were converted for either side.
The game was marred by the sinbinning of Gibson Weru Kahuthia half-way through the second spell.
Next up for New Zealand is Wales, early this afternoon (NZT).
