New Zealand take an unbeaten record into the quarterfinals of the Adelaide Sevens today.
They opened their pool C account beating Wales 42-10 before thumping Hong Kong 61-5.
In their last pool match, they beat Australia 21-5 with a convincing all-round performance.
They will now meet Scotland who finished second in pool D while Australia will take on Samoa, who won the last round in Hong Kong.
In their first game at the Adelaide Oval, New Zealand recorded their ninth win over Wales since the sevens world series began in 1999.
Skipper Nigel Hunt scored hat-trick of tries and kicked six conversions -- other tries were scored by Afeleke Pelenise, Lote Raikabula and Steven Yates.
New Zealand led 21-5 at halftime.
Against Hong Kong, Hunt started proceedings scoring from the kick-off.
Pelenise followed up with a five-pointer, but New Zealand's progress was slightly stunted when Tomasi Cama was sinbinned for back-chatting the referee.
Hong Kong scored in his absence, but New Zealand still led 26-5 at halftime.
The floodgates eventually opened with Adam Thomson scoring a hat-trick.
Australia warmed up for the big pool A clash beating Wales 24-15 and Hong Kong 45-0.
New Zealand crafted their win on the back of converted tries to Pelenise, Edwin Cocker and Cama to one by Australia's Anthony Sauer after leading 14-5 at halftime.
The other quarterfinal matches will be between England and surprise packages Kenya, and South Africa pitted against Fiji.
