The New Zealand sevens team will face France, Portugal and Korea in pool play at the Hong Kong sevens next month.
New Zealand, who share the lead in the world series with England on 80 points after three tournaments, were drawn in Pool A in Hong Kong today.
The event, the only 24-team tournament on the world series, carries extra points. The overall winner gets 30 points rather than the 24 on offer at other tournaments.
