The International Rugby Board has announced the dates of the eight international tournaments to comprise the 2008/09 IRB sevens world championship.
Dubai will host the first tournament on November 28-29 while the third event is in Wellington on February 6-7.
The four-yearly World Cup will be played in Dubai from March 5-7, a tournament separate to the world championship series.
2008/09 IRB world sevens schedule:
Nov 28-29: Dubai, UAE
Dec 5-6: George, South Africa
Feb 6-7: Wellington, New Zealand
Feb 14-15: San Diego, USA
March 5-7: Dubai, UAE (World Cup)
March 27-29: Hong Kong
April 4-5: Adelaide, Australia
May 23-24: London, England
May 30-31: Edinburgh, Scotland
