Two landmarks were reached during the weekend's Wellington Sevens.
England's Ben Gollings eclipsed the Fijian, Waisale Serevi, as leading points scorer in the history of world sevens.
Gollings, the winger who played for Newcastle and Harlequins in 15s before shifting to Worcester Warriors, scored a try to take his tally past Serevi's 1033 points. The try also took his tally to 98 but it was Argentina's Santiago Gomez Cora who became one of the few men to score 100 tries in world sevens play when he touched down during the tournament.
He joins New Zealand's Karl Te Nana - with 113 the most prolific try scorer in the event - and Australia's Peter Miller as the only two players ever to break the 'ton'.
Gollings was left on 98 with England's exit at the hands of Fiji yesterday while South African veteran Fabian Juries also passsed the 100 mark.
Gollings is good but he's left stranded
