GEORGIA 22 - 28 JAPAN
The 2019 Rugby World Cup hosts have started their European tour with a comeback victory over Georgia.
Georgia, on an impressive eight-game winning streak, led 12-8 at the half thanks to tries from Vito Koleshvili and Vasil Lobzhanidze.
But the Brave Blossoms refused to lay down. Coming off a defeat to Argentina last week, the determined Japanese roared back in the second half and stole victory.
Former Highlanders wing Fetu'u Vainikolo bagged a try to strengthen his grip on the title of Tonga's top try scorer.
TUNISIA 14 - 15 SENEGAL
The final of the 2016 Africa Cup Division 1B competition ended in thrilling fashion, with Senegal stealing victory after a last minute penalty.
Tunisia and Senegal (ranked 39th and 50th in the world respectively) qualified for the division final after both going undefeated in pool play.
PORTUGAL 26 - 21 BELGIUM
Portugal's 26-7 first half lead was good enough headstart as the Wolves recorded a win against Belgium.
Led by their strong forward pack, Belgium (ranked five places ahead of Portugal in the world rankings) made a comeback in the second half but a big defensive effort from Portugal in the final 15 minutes kept the lead intact.
ROMANIA 23 - 10 USA
Todd Clever's men couldn't get the job done against the 16th ranked Oaks.
The physical home side Romania scored three tries is the first 20 minutes and the Eagles couldn't recover.
