Seven starting players will make their debut for North Harbour in the Ranfurly Shield rugby defence against Thames Valley on Saturday.
New coach Wayne Pivac has also included five newcomers on the reserve bench for the game at North Harbour Stadium in Albany.
The seven new starters are props James Afoa and Ben Afeaki, hooker Tom McCartney, flanker Robert Colhoun, halfback Luke Hamilton, second five-eighth Michael Harris and winger Ken Pisi.
Three brothers, Tusi, George and Ken Pisi are all in the starting backline.
