KEY POINTS:
Former All Black Andrew Mehrtens' final rugby game for English premiership club Harlequins will be against Sale on Saturday.
Mehrtens, who turns 34 the same day, has been hampered by injury this season, restricting him to just eight premiership appearances, the BBC website reported.
Although his campaign this season has been cut short by injury Mehrtens, who has yet to decide on his future, scored 225 points in 25 games last season as the club bounced back into the premiership at the first attempt.
Mehrtens played his last test for the All Blacks against South Africa in 2004 and joined Harlequins on a two-year deal in July the following year.
