KEY POINTS:
Blues rugby utility back Isa Nacewa is playing down an ankle injury that will see him wearing a moon boot for a couple of weeks.
The squad will disassemble tomorrow for the Christmas break, and reconvenes on the 7th of January, albeit sticking to a tight training regime in between.
Nacewa rolled his ankle last week and while it is not causing him much pain, he will stay off his feet for a couple of weeks. He says his training schedule has been tweaked due to a minor injury, although it is a precautionary thing from the doctors and physios, and he will continue doing work in the pool.
Meanwhile, New Zealand Rugby Kel Tremain Player of the Year winner, Daniel Braid also continues to recover from a shoulder injury, and is facing a race against time to be fit for the start of the 2008 Super 14.
Nucifora says they are expecting Braid to be back in time for the start of the competition.
