KEY POINTS:
English rugby premiership leaders Bristol said today New Zealand Maori hooker Scott Linklater would be joining the club next week.
Linklater, who has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Bristol, moves from Waikato, where he played 56 games and also made 21 Super 14 appearances for the Chiefs.
Bristol also announced former Ireland centre Kevin Maggs is to leave Ulster and return to Bristol from next season.
Bristol-born Maggs, 32, made his debut for his hometown club back in the 1993-94 season before joining local rivals Bath in 1998.
He subsequently moved to Irish province Ulster but is now due to return to Bristol on a two-year contract.
Maggs won the last of his 63 Ireland caps two years ago, having made his test debut in 1997 and appeared in both the 1999 and 2003 World Cups.
