Otago has finally landed its big catch, signing Northland winger Fetu'u Vainikolo until the end of 2010.
Vainikolo, the most exciting player to be heading to Dunedin since All Black first five-eighths Nick Evans transferred in 2005, has been on Otago's radar since his star turn for the Highlanders earlier this year.
The flying Tongan was drafted by coach Glenn Moore, starting all 13 games and leading the side with six tries.
