KEY POINTS:
Former All Blacks midfield back Daryl Gibson has signed with Scottish rugby franchise Glasgow Warriors for two years.
Gibson shifts from English giants the Leicester Tigers, where he was vice-captain.
"I'm looking forward to helping the team develop further after last season's encouraging performances," Gibson said in a statement.
"The move to Firhill is exciting and with improved team performances and excellent facilities for the supporters, we'll hopefully get more people supporting the professional game in Glasgow."
Glasgow's head coach is former Scotland midfield back Sean Lineen.
Gibson played 19 times for the All Blacks and made 78 Super 12 appearances for the Crusaders, bagging four titles before leaving for Bristol in September 2002.
He subsequently joined Leicester and made more than 90 appearances for the club.
