The Pumas accepted the invite today from the South African Rugby Union after French clubs, who employ most of Argentina's best players, agreed to release their players.
South Africa slotted the match in the midst of their Tri-Nations campaign.
A week after playing the Pumas, the Springboks play their first Tri-Nations home match against the All Blacks.
The teams last met in the World Cup semifinal in Paris last year, with the Springboks prevailing 37-13.
