KEY POINTS:
SYDNEY - Wallabies rugby fullback Chris Latham is set to quit Australia and link-up with English club Worcester.
News Limited newspapers reported that Latham would play out the 2008 Super 14 season with the Queensland Reds before earning up to A$2 ($2.26) million in a three-year deal with the cashed-up club.
It was unclear whether he'd be released from his Australian Rugby Union contract for the 2008 domestic and Tri-Nations tests but the newspaper speculated he would likely at least be freed to miss the end of season tour to Europe.
Despite being 32, Latham would be a major loss for the Wallabies and new coach Robbie Deans.
One of the most consistent Australian players of the last four years, Latham has played 78 Tests.
