The Australian Rugby Union is expected to extend Robbie Deans' contract for at least two more seasons.
Reports across the Tasman claim the chances of Deans being in charge for the British and Irish Lions tour in 2013 have been boosted by CEO John O'Neill's decision to accept a contract extension until 2013.
It's understood Deans will be offered a two-year deal with an option of two more before the World Cup.
