Utility back Adam Ashley-Cooper yesterday appeared to confirm speculation that vice-captain Berrick Barnes will be Australia's new first five-eighths on the Wallabies end-of-season tour, with Matt Giteau shifting to second five.
Ashley-Cooper backed Barnes to play at No 10 for the fourth Bledisloe Cup match against the All Blacks in Tokyo on October 31.
