Fiji rugby coach Wayne Pivac has made four changes and a positional switch in his side to take on Italy in their one-off rugby test in Lautoka on Saturday.
Pivac has retained the tight five and his blindside flanker for the third week in a row. Their last outing was against Tonga in a Pacific Five Nations championship match which they lost 23-24.
"I want to build continuity in the tight five and I've been impressed by their performance over the last two weeks, so there's no need for any changes," Pivac said today.
He has re-called Yamaha club player, Alivereti Doviverata at openside flanker, dropping Akapusi Qera to the bench and given France-based, Netani Talei his first run-on debut at number eight.
Former sevens star, Sakiusa Matadigo has been left out for the match against Italy.
England-based halfback Jacob Rauluni makes a welcome return after opting to play for the Barbarians and missing Fiji's first two Pacific Five Nations games.
"Jacob will bring experience in that crucial position.
"Mind you the young guys who held the fort over the last two games did well, but Jacob should provide the depth that we've lacked at number nine," Pivac said.
Fiji team: Norman Ligairi, Mosese Luveitasau, Rupeni Caucau, Kameli Ratuvou, Seru Rabeni, Seremaia Bai, Jacob Rauluni, Netani Talei, Alivereti Doviverata, Ifereimi Rawaqa, Isoa Domolailai, Simon Raiwalui (captain), Apisai Nagi, Sunia Koto, Jo Bale.
