Wales halfback Dwayne Peel looks a doubtful starter for the rugby test against the All Blacks in Cardiff on November 5.
The British and Irish Lions No 9 recently had ankle surgery and suffered a reaction to the injury earlier this week.
British-based sports website Clubcall reported today Peel was likely to miss Llanelli Scarlets Heineken Cup match against Edinburgh this weekend, putting him in doubt for the test.
Wales have been hammered by injuries with first-choice players Gavin Henson, Tom Shanklin, Gethin Jenkins, Ryan Jones and Dafydd Jones ruled out.
